My family and I have recently moved from Virginia to North Carolina.  We plan to start a new life down here.  I have just started with Island Healing and I really enjoy it.  It's such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and great people to work for.  I would recommend chiropractic care to everyone.

I moved here from northern Virginia with my husband, Randy.  I have two grown children, Jennifer and James, and one beautiful grandchild!  I have been with Island Healing Chiropractic since January 2007.  I love people and love to help them "destress", relax and feel better about themselves through masasge, facials, body treatments and ear candling.  I look forward to working with you in the future.

Joanne Duncan, Massage Therapist

A licensed and nationally board certified massage and bodywork therapist. I graduated in 1998 from the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health, located in Manchester New Hampshire. My studies included both eastern traditional medicine and western modalities. I had a busy massage therapy practice for ten years, prior to moving to the North Carolina coast. I practice a variety of massage techniques that include deep tissue rehabilitation to a pampering hot stone massage. I strive to do my best, to constantly better my self as a professional. I love what I do, helping people feel better. I am looking forward to building my practice at Island Healing Chiropractic and most of all, getting to know all of you. If you have always wondered how massage therapy can help you,  call the office today and schedule your appointment and together, we can facilitate a massage, just right for you.

"Mr. Bones"...is Island Healing Chiropractic's "mascot".   The children love him, the adults ask if he is really a patient who has been waiting a really long time...!
