My family and I have recently moved from Virginia to North Carolina. We plan to start a new life down here. I have just started with Island Healing and I really enjoy it. It's such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and great people to work for. I would recommend chiropractic care to everyone.

"I have been practicing both Yoga and Pilates for close to 10 years now. I find that I love the combination of Yoga and Pilates because I get something different from each. Great ab work from Pilates, great stretching from Yoga, and strengthening and a wonderful centering from both. Also, both of these practices can be very meditative.
When I first began practicing I was living in an area that didn't offer a whole lot of options for doing Yoga or Pilates, so I figured
it out on my own and practiced daily using some of the great books and videos available out there (check out www.theyogamine.com for a few good ones). After my husband and I moved permanently to Oak Island in 2004, I began practicing at some of the local studios. It was then I really jumped in with both feet! I received my Registered Yoga Teacher's certification from The Wilmington Yoga Center in 2006 and am a member in good standing of the Yoga Alliance. Check out my
